Fall Trends I'm Loving
The kids are back in school and Halloween décor is starting to flood your local craft store - fall is almost here! Here are a few trends I’m loving that you may see more frequently in the event space this season.
With the changing of the seasons comes the opportunity to change event color palettes. The neon and sea-toned blues of summer are turning into rich berry, navy, and ivory.
See this incorporated into stemware, linens, florals, and general décor. A welcomed change for this event planner!
Speaking of linens, a recent trip to La Tavola’s Sacramento showroom had me dreaming of a project to use their velvet linens. They have so many rich and vibrant colors from pinot to emerald and fern. Don’t want to commit to a full velvet drape? Consider a table runner on a farmhouse table or velvet napkins for a splash of color. La Tavola’s napkins are fully lined so you don’t feel bad wiping your mouth or hands on something so luxurious.
Featured below is their blush velvet table runner.
Organic Balloon Garland
You may have seen on my recent Instagram post that there is another helium shortage affecting most of the US. Although you may not be able to pick up your balloon bouquet order at a local Party City, don’t fear. There are still incredible, one-of-a-kind balloon displays that can be created using air filled balloons. Thanks to tips and tricks when hiring the right professionals, like Frosting & Fringe Events, your balloons will still look like they are suspended in air.
From the Table to the Wall
Things that normally are displayed on a table are getting a new twist and being displayed on a wall. You may have seen this previously with donut walls (check it out on Pinterest) that were heavily trending this year and last in the wedding space. Now, the new hot ticket is champagne walls. Leave the champagne fountains at your parent’s parties - this hot trend packs a big ‘wow’ statement and allows your guest to grab a glass while entering your event without crowding table space.
